As new PNWers, we obviously have a long bucket list of everything that we want to see out here. We are getting a camper in the spring, but this weekend was so beautiful and I was itching to get outside and see the world. We took the 1.5 drive down to Silverton, OR and got there around 3. We got the watch the sun set and fill the woods with beautiful colors. I hope to camp there this year.
We got to see both North and South Falls, although we couldn't find a good viewing area for the North Falls. The sun was setting quickly and we didn't want to be stranded in the woods in the dark. South Falls was amazing. You could view it from every angle possible. We looks down the falls, got beside the falls on both sides, behind the falls (amazing!) and got to view the falls straight on while crossing a bridge.
