Summer 2012

Hershey Park

Landon's first trip to Hershey Park was this summer. He had so much fun, and went a second time with his grandma. He still talks about Hershey Park almost on a daily basis. HE LOVES IT! 

Hands down, his favorite ride is the carousal. He gabbed about riding horsies the rest of the trip. You couldn't tell by looking at him though, he wouldn't crack a smile. 

Being a first time parent at Hershey Park, I had a hard time letting him go on his first ride by himself. So I let Josh do it. How heartbreaking is the look he gave me? "Mom, how could you?"

But believe it or not, he actually enjoyed the whole experience. And once I got over my heart palpitations, I did too! I put my camera away and spent the day with my wittle man.

Hatteras 2012

Another trip to the Outer Banks under our belt. Landon is only two, but he's been to OBX five times! It would have been six this week, but poor Land's is sick with a fever and sore throat.

Josh and I before our romantic anniversary dinner on Ocracoke Island. We took a long ferry ride there and Josh's parents surprised us with a beautiful suite at a near-by hotel so we could spend our anniversary alone. How lucky were we to spend our first anniversary back in OBX?

Landon taking his afternoon nap in the truck. Hatteras is perfect for young kids because you park your truck or SUV right on the beach where you spend the day. Landon napped almost everyday on the beach.
